The TL-1102 low frequency loudspeaker is the latest in the line of quality drivers for Near and Mid-Field applications. This 11-inch (276mm) loudspeaker also features our single piece construction design, a 2.6 inch edgewise wound voice coil, a newly designed cone and a new Alnico magnetic circuit with flux density of 12,800 gauss. This new smaller size low frequency driver is capable of handling power of 125 Watts rated, 500 Watts Maximum, with a wide frequency response of 31 Hz to 3,000Hz at an SPL of 94dB per Watt at 1 Meter.

The cone is constructed of an aged natural pulp material which is both lightweight and durable. It is laminated with special film which is applied with a unique controlling paint. The yoke, plate and magnetic circuit are cast as a single piece construction design which serves to eliminate unwanted resonance and vibration.
Also, as with the TL-1601C, the centerpole piece has a fixed mounting design for improved durability.
Together, these improvements to the overall frame construction combine to increase the strength of the magnetic circuit by 4 times resulting in very tight sound with deep bass response.
